We want to make your stay at our ranch
as pleasant as possible. We are flexible in providing for your needs. Our twenty years experience in the area make our knowledge
a valuable asset in touring the more interesting places and finding the hidden corners of Mexico few people see. We look forward
to talking to you at your leisure and offering our insights into the community. We do not live at the ranch any longer, but
will be available to you to answer and questions you may have or to help you organize your stay. Please don't hesitate to

Property Description
The ranch house has three bedrooms and two full baths. The Master Bedroom has a queen size bed and shares
the Master Bath with the second bedroom that has two twin beds. The third bedroom has an adjoining bath and queen size bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove and microwave. The living room has a DVD player (no external
television signal) with TV and a large library.
There is a snack bar in the kitchen and also a separate dining room.
All linens, towels and kitchenware are included. A complementary meal will be provided upon your arrival.
The
house is adjacent to the original adobe hacienda now being used for storage.
Services Daily maid service is included in the price. Full time maid/cook services can be contractedat and addtional charge
of $10 per day or meals can be arranged to be taken with a family in the village for an extremely reasonable charge.
Trail rides and horses available for $50/per week/per horse plus $25 USD
per day for the guide. The guide is our long standing very patient and good humored cowhand, David, who communicates
well without any English with lots of smiles and laughter. Moonbeam ranch is guest ranch, but not a dude ranch. You
are invited to participate in the daily work acitivities with the cattle, sheep and horses on the ranch or contract David
to show you the trails or teach you to ride.
If you choose to not rent a car we will arrange taxi service for pickup at the Guadalajara
international airport (2.5hours) and to take you on excursions. Airport pick up and return $90 USD each way.
Moonbeam guest ranch is part of a rural tourism initiative to stimulate the
economy of rural Mexico. Your fees for maid service and horses goes directly to our workers. Please be generous
with your tips!

Activities The ranch consists of 250 acres. There
are many paths and roads available in the area for your exploration. Horsebacking riding with or without a guide can be arranged
for a modest fee. Experienced riders may want to rent a horse on a weekly basis. The same paths serve as wonderful day excursions
for hikes or four wheel drive tours.

Meals can be arranged with a local family in
the nearby village which is a ten minute walk from the ranch. (See all inclusive rate here)
Ideas for excursions: Shrine of the miraculous Virgen of Talpa nestled high in the mountains, a beautiful drive
through the high sierra of pine forests and volcanoes. Hot aprings of Villa Corona-- try a fully equipped water park with
hot water (private baths available also)! Tour the colonial villages of Ayutla, Tenamaxtlan, Cocula (home of Mariachi). Try
our cultural tour, visiting a cheese factory, precious stone mine and giftshop, historical ruins, and local villages.
We're a 3 hour drive from the beach of Barra de Navidad, one of the unspoiled spots left on this part of the Pacific coast.
Fish in the lake of Miraplanes, five minutes from the ranch, or arrange in advance a hunting expedition with local hunters.
Guadalajara is just a two hour drive over beautiful
mountain scenery. As the second largest city in Mexico, you can find anything you want or need there: the largest covered
market in Mexico, modern commercial malls, 16th century historic center, world class universities. The state of Jalisco is
home to mariachi bands, charreadas (a type of rodeo) and of course, tequila. We can help you find your way around on your
own or book a tour. See links page for more information.
Please note that we do our best to arrange private tours for you with local English speaking
residents at approximately $100 USD per full day's tour per party.
